Problem Solving Meets Creative Thinking
I am interested in urban space as sociological form: The minutia—unconscious or overt—which shape our environments, and how our environment then shapes us in turn. My primary focuses are land use/zoning, sustainability and resilience (in particular environmental/the energy transition), and community engagement in all its forms.
Volunteering
I love being active in the community where I live. Some of my favorite volunteering includes river cleanups, community garden upkeep, afterschool reading and tutoring, social outreach programs, and many more.
Tech
With a passion for design and data analysis, I have experience with a wide array of software: the Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, ArcGIS Pro, R, as well as usage of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and similar design programs (as seen in the land layouts to the right). I am always learning at least one new software at any given time.
Writing
I have professional experience in copywriting, technical writing, and documentation. I have also had my poetry, fiction, and nonfiction works published in numerous journals and magazines. Unsurprisingly, I am also an avid reader—whether it’s history, anthropology, sociology, political science, or any other fascinating subject, I always have a book (or several) in queue.
